The Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said that whoever loses something should perform ablution, pray two rak’ahs, recite the Shahada, and say: (In the name of God, O guider of misguidance and the one who seeks the lost, restore to me what I lost with your glory and authority, for it is from your giving and your grace).
