About this app

This mHealth application intent is to provide and empower mobile regular users and health professionals with the tool with which they can estimate their or others visual acuity, based on a classical Snellen Chart Test. This App is innovative because it transforms an old style poster test design in a new, modern, intuitive, ubiquitous test. One App with a simple user interface, and an intuitive navigation chart using swipe gestures to navigate from optotype to optotype, and with the capability to adapt the Snellen Chart Test to different screen sizes, screen resolutions and user distances.

Thank you. Outstanding app. Love the way it takes into account the screen size and pixel resolution, in addition to distance from the eyes. All adjustable in settings. You're a genius! The performance is actually much better that the charts in my eye doctor's office. Which is projected onto a screen, then reflected in a mirror. Each step of the way resolution is lost! Your app is so much better. Thank you for helping so many people with this app! God Bless you! Please add plain font option!

this app has been excellent for helping with portable VA in tricky areas, until the latest update which has broken it entirely. Attempting to configure it with settings means non-stop crashes.

Sorry for the inconvenience. I had to make a Google mandatory migration from Java to Kotlin, supporting the most recent Android OS. A few bugs were shipped in that update that I was unaware of them. Today I made some bug fixes and launched a new update that will be available in the next hours. I hope it is now working as usual.

What's new

Major bugs fixed with the new user preferences data store. The developer reminds the users to first configure the App in settings accordingly with their device datasheet before any acuity test is performed. In the next few weeks, the developer will be launching small improvements and keep fixing existing bugs. Sorry for the on-the-fly notice.
