This book focused on the monotheism of worship, which is the unification of divinity, and the warning against major and minor polytheism, with a speech on the unification of the Names and Attributes, and an explanation of the evidence from the Qur’an and the Sunnah on the danger of polytheism, and an explanation of what God sent His Messengers with from monotheism.

The author began this book with a statement of the unification of worship; Because most of the people of his time were ignorant of this monotheism, and fell into many actions and sayings that contradict it, then he concluded his book with the Unification of the Names and Attributes so that this book would be comprehensive of the three types of monotheism.
