Absolute Rubbish don't waste your time. I read the reviews and took a chance, wish l hadn't. I have wasted hours trying to get this camera paired to this app. Eventually changed phones to see if it was my phone. Nope no joy. Cannot get the hot-spot and WiFi to work together, when you do download no sound and when you try and share the software shuts down. Taking this back and going with another brand. Repeat do not waste your time.

Using a Pixel 2 and the latest version of Android, this app is horrendous to use. It keeps forgetting the hot spot information and disconnecting from the camera via wifi. The live camera view doesn't work and it crashes a lot. I've had it a week and been unable to download any footage at all. I managed to get it working properly once after a lot of wrangling and restarts but I shouldn't need to do that. Also looks like I'm not the only one experincing this. I'm tempted to return the camera.

Where is the sound on videos? ? The sound plays on the device but when i download it to the app ... Nothing! Also the GPS is useless . When you get the WiFi to hotspot working, it shows you where you are in live mode on a map , but when you open a previously saved video there is no map and when you click statistics, it just displays a blank google screen with 3 lines at the top. Acceleration. Speed. And something else, but there is no data to go with it. So I've unplugged the GPS module. No point

2. Remove the Hotspot operation. Using WiFi connection can connect to Google Map when the MDC300GW/MDC500GW connected with mobile phone via WiFi only.
