For Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa functionality, pair your device in SIMPLEconnect® app first.

Google Assistant process: To use your fan with Google Assistant, first, add your device(s) in the SIMPLEconnect® app, then activate Google Assistant.

Amazon Alexa process: To use your fan with Alexa, first, add your device(s) in the SIMPLEconnect® app. Once your fan(s) are added to your SIMPLEconnect® account, activate the Amazon Alexa skill "Hunter – SIMPLEconnect® Smart Ceiling Fan" and enter your SIMPLEconnect® credentials to link your fan to Alexa control.

The connectivity of this app is so frustrating. Can be a headache to setup with the 2.4 vs 5.0 limitations but works great once you finally get configured. Then seems to randomly reset every few months. I've had this fan for 4 years and have had to fully start over the connection config over a dozen times... Terrible.

Took a week to get it to work in 2021. Don't use the app very much since it has a remote, but I like to use it occasionally. After the last update it shows the fan offline. Tried everything, looks like I'll need to call tech support again and hope and pray. It's crazy with all the technology these days things just work. Hunter is still trying to figure it out. Still making great fans, maybe they need to outsource this part.

Everything was pretty easy to set up the first time around. However, after a power outage, I had to start from scratch and it was a bit frustrating. That's apparently a known issue with a reset but the new version of the address that. This all being said, I scheduled a callback with a service tech named Randall. He was so incredibly patient and stayed with me until I had all three of my fans reconnected! Awesome service.
