The famous 39-meter-high mausoleum located in the Turkestan region is named after the famous Muslim figure and poet Khoja Ahmet Yasawi. This holy place is traditionally considered as the Little Mecca. There are 35 rooms connected to each other by various passages and corridors; a library of ancient books, an underground Hilvet mosque, a bathhouse, a hall for the blessing of new-born babies.
