It's the best app I have used for controlling VLC. It's so intuitive that within 5 minutes, I was using it as if I'd had it for ages! Setup is a breeze. Just download it to your PC, enter the code generated onto your mobile, and you are up and running. It's better than a physical remote. Controls are clear, and you have all the features, such as turning subtitles on and off, lip sync etc. at your fingertips. That's the free "Lite" version. Browse your media files and much more with this version.

Absolute rubbish. Will not connect to vlc on a remote Linux system. The earlier incarnation of this app worked flawlessly. I can't believe I paid money for this! The help webpage is a complete joke and the support is non existent. Do yourself a favour and avoid.

Works perfectly, being able to turn off subtitles, change volume, drop in and out of full screen and stick the next episode on is a dream cone true for a sofa sitting PC watching slob like myself.
