Great Battles of the American Civil War is based on the ‘Great Battles of the American Civil War’ board games, which started with the classic game ‘Terrible Swift Sword’. This game recreates the significant battles of the American Civil War. Each scenario in this game is a grand tactical, regimental-level simulation of a single battle, enabling players to test their generalship under the same challenges faced by the Union and Confederate commanders.

Why do you have to have task.I defeat more than half of the enemy and one of my task is to hold two points by turn 16 or destroy the enemy team and there was only 2 enemy units left against my whole army and I still lost because of terrible gameplay.

If you like the "Civil War"( by the definition of those words, it was not a Civil War) 1861-1865 games, this is way better. Battles include: Oak Hills(Wilson's Creek); Elkhorn Tavern(Pea Ridge);3 Shiloh Scenarios; Pleasant Hill; 2 Cedar Mountain Sceanrios; 2 Monocracy scenarios and 1 or 2 others that escape me atm. Also can actually really move when in line of battle. Enjoy! Deo Vindice
