Meet your new Game Master. The free HeroQuest Companion App allows you to run your next tabletop game session so everyone can play as heroes! The app takes on the role of Zargon using the onscreen quest map.
Additional features include:
• Narrated quest instructions, sound effects, and dungeon atmosphere

The parts of it that work, work well. The atmosphere and polish are there and really hit their mark. Unfortunately, too many fundamental components of the game just don't work (like certain spells or abilities). The moving of characters around the map is janky at best. There is no option to take a move back if you've made an error. Then, there are really odd things that don't work... Like the sound not working if you connect to a Bluetooth speaker.

It's good but could be great. Some annoying bugs on Android. No sound when casting to tv (works on an Iphone but not on Pixel 6). Rogue and Veil of Mist don't work in the app. Landscape mode is good but moving your character is almost impossible (it moves the map instead), making landscape mode pretty much useless. Monk Speak with Stone don't seem to work and searches for treasure (which it shouldn't) but don't tell you to draw a card... Like I said could be great, but not in it's current state

Since the last update the extra map tunnels of xor El doesn't work. It didn't take the safe as well as the map doesn't open after the intro text any longer Otherwise I played through the original campaign with my family and we enjoyed it immensely. We like the voice of zargon and other sound effects. It's great that this way nobody has to play as zargon.

Thorsten, thank you for taking the time to bring this to our attention. Other players are reporting similar issues with the Pulse exclusive quests. We are investigating the issue.
What's new
HeroQuest players, this update now includes the Expansion Quest Set: Against the Ogre Horde. Now digital Zargon can guide you through these additional adventures through the World's End mountains. But tread carefully my friends, the Dirgrusht Ogres are a strong but seclusive clan. And Zargon plans to manipulate them for his own evil purposes . Your ongoing adventures await!
