Unfortunately, using the musicLife app is an incredibly frustrating experience. The layout of the app itself isn't terrible, and I find it easier to navigate than the Mconnect app, which I also use. Unfortunately, the connection between the Musiclife app and my Arcam CDS50, is spotty at best. It will play and then when you try to change album or track it will just wig out, and will not play. This is an issue that I don't have with Mconnect, so it must be a Musiclife app issue.

Very badly designed app. When openening the main volume knob screen to control volume it defaults to 50% resulting in ear damaging blasts from your speakers. It is at a point where I do not control my Arcam's main volume from my phone anymore. On my iPad (iOS) same issue by the way, besides a clunky, not very user friendly app to navigate. Needs a lot of work to do justice to Arcam's reputation in the HIFI world.

Shame, it looks great, but only plays one song then a 4 min pause, before starting the next track??? sometimes its even worse. Hard Wired ethernet from player to Twonky server[tested ok with other players]. OS version works, but Help line, not really helpful- advised to buy another streaming device. No updates - Discontiued! Avoid ------ just Get Bluesound Node or WIIM
