Haiku-Japanese poetry

Haiku is a type of Japanese poetry. The haiku poet tries, through simple words, to express strong feelings or deep feelings. Haiku poems consist of only one line, seventeen syllables (in Japanese), and are usually written in three lines (five, seven, then five).
