It's a really cool combination of different types of puzzles, and I love how it slowly introduces them all, then builds into fairly complex stuff. However, it is just not all that difficult. Once you've got the logical mechanics, it's just following a script of only putting in what logically has to go somewhere...and build and build until you're done. I wish they'd do more and really challenge with puzzles that seem to be able to be solved multiple ways.

Scalak is a nice game. It's pretty chill, and the puzzles have logical solutions and good "tutorial" levels that prepare you for more complex challenges later in the game. There's a bit of a narrative through some pictures between levels, kind of like a reward. Even if you don't really follow the story, they're still cool pictures to look at. Took me about 4 hours to complete.

I'm enjoying the simplicity of the puzzles quite a bit. Once manipulation of 3D objects became part of the game mechanic, it took a moment to realize that I could release the cube and it would snap to whatever position it's closest to, which made the more advanced levels easier to navigate. otherwise it's a decent little bit of puzzle solving.
