Defective app. Crashes right after launch. Won't connect to Mini MX so can't upgrade firmware on gimbal. Uninstalling and returning Mini MX gimbal. Apparently there is the same issue with the more expensive Moza Aircross 2. Stay away from this brand unless you use an iPhone. Per tech support, known Android 12 issues. No prob on Android 11 phone! Oh well. Update: it took a while but with prompt support from Moza, everything works now with my Pixel 7. Changed ratings to 5 stars.

This app is either not quite ready or it's development is being neglected. Some features don't work or are unstable (object tracking and inception mode), frame rates and shutter controls are limited. Having to manually connect over bluetooth is another minor inconvenience. It's a shame that such a value-packed gimbal like the mini mi is held back by under developed software. Update oct5: Genie has been reduced to an ad for the mini mx. Crashes immediately after. Unusable.

The Genie app did not work very well with Android LG Stylo 5. Couldn't find a way to use my SD card either. It seemed only capable of 720p 30f/s while the phone is capable of 1080p 60f/s. I realize this isn't a place to rate the Moza Mini-S, but I had nothing but issues with it as well. It would shut off by itself, disconnected from Bluetooth and tracking would disconnect often. I'm really unsure of whether the app or the gimbal was causing the issues. Maybe the phone just isn't compatible.
