Weather

The app has great UI and all, but the fact that you cant tell it to just show the weather for one fixed location really rubs me the wrong way. Should I always have location on? I just want the weather for my hometown in which I spend 80% of my time, I don't want to activate my location since pixel 7a battery already has very poor performances. It is just an easy feature I cant think of a reason why it does not exist. Oh wait I can, they just want to track your every location, thx Google

App constantly shows we the weather on my home screen for a different location (lower mainland BC) regardless of where I actually am. When I open the app it resets to where I am then reverts to previous location (lower mainland) after an hour or so. Turning off Google One VPN doesn't fix it, clearing cache/storage of the apps as directed by Google doesn't fix it. Been on repeat conversations with Google support with no luck. I've missed weather warnings because the app doesn't know where I am.

I tried to contact support but email bounced! My home screen weather is showing a completely different temperature than my current location. It reads '-9⁰' when it is 8⁰. When I tap the temperature icon (under the date on first page), it opens the app showing the correct temperature and forecast. When I exit to the app, the temperature is corrected. It stays this way for a period of time than reverts. It displays the incorrect weather across my Pixel 7 Pro :( incredibly inconvenient.
