Had the recent issue where all apps stopped working that used webview. I took the standard update the next day, which was better, but still had issues. For instance, if I was in gmail, the last email content would overlay the email listings partially, blocking all navigation. I had to close the app and reopen to proceed. This beta version seems to work better. No issues so far.

Android web view, paired with Chrome on Android, is a UI visual masterpiece. When both are updated, and tabs kept closed, the web view maintains fast loading speeds and site safety unparalleled to any other option out there, but this isn't really surprising considering it's built and maintained by the best UI/UE dev team humanity has to offer. Jus sayin 🤓

This install works when the standard latest webview won't install. The problem is some services still won't work properly. It only works because it allows you to use the last version that worked on your phone and for me that is well over a year old. My phone works with version 80 and the latest version is in the 90's already. I'm using samsung galaxy s10+ My phone was still new when this stopped working.
