Remove Duplicates

I was really hoping this app would work to remove duplicates. I recently switched phones and have thousands of texts repeated 3 times each. When I run this app. It starts from the oldest first, and it finds matches that say 75% match, which only have a similarity of sender and time stamp; no similar text. This is frustrating because it means I will then have to read every single one and delete individually anyway. If you leave the app for longer than a minute or two. It ends the search saving no results, which completely defeats the purpose. If I have to sit there and watch it for several hours, I might as well just do it myself without the app.

Resets itself everytime i go to another app for more than a minute or two. Constantly starting over time and time again. Resets itself if your screen orientation rotates. I'm sure this app would be great if it could get done but I can never get past 25k messages out of 150k±. Please advise if I am doing something wrong.

seemed to be working, but then it stopped. i still have so many duplicate messages. the app was literally searching all night, then when it stopped, didn't delete anything. the duplicates actually seem worse, like there are more of them.
