After several resets and restarts and reinstalls it still cannot connect to the doorbell. My router says it's online, the doorbell says it's online. Funny the app had no trouble connecting to Facebook and Google. Worked great uploading logs and analytical data. Just missed that video part. I understand it's how these Chinese electronics are, but put a little more focus on making it do what it's supposed to and less on backdoors, ads and user data.

Updated 2.16.24 STILL DOESNT WORK! This is ridiculous! 🤬 October 2023..Doorbell worked fine when I first installed! I subscribed to the video recordings which seemed to work fine! The last few weeks my app just crashes crashes crashes! It won't open yet sends me alerts as someone goes by but as soon as I go to open it just closes the app! Tells me to clear cache and it will work yet nothing! I haven't been able to use my app or doorbell for weeks now and this beyond irritating! 😡

The app was working great until I purchased the s21 fe phone. Now, when you want to connect to live view with the idoo door bell camera, it wants to connect. If I'm talking on my cell phone, it will connect and work okay. Very strange. No one can solve this problem. I need help. I like thedoorbelll . Now I can get notifications. No customer support.
