Initially difficult very difficult to connect. Once connected, it functioned for a short period of time before stopping working. Now the app thinks it's connected and you can change state but the hood does not respond. Additionally, changing things on the hood has no impact in app state. Attempts to reconnect the account initially worked but don't appear to anymore. When it _was_ working, the app was reasonable for a one off like this, though relatively clunky and unresponsive at times.

Decent app. Recent updates have improved remote functionality of the hood light, which is by far the most often used part of the hood. The light must be controlled via an alexa routine, but it has worked every time since creating the routine. Now to be fair, there is probably a command that can turn just the hood light on to level three, but it would be so long and convoluted as to be impractical to say, and be prone to misinterpretation. Best to just create a routine.

The app is not very robust. I sometimes adjust the fan speed on the app and nothing happens to the range hood fan. Similarly the fan is sometimes running and I try to look what's on on the range hood and it shows nothing is on but the fans and lights are on.
