Almost daily the app says "No internet connection," even while streaming music and chatting with Gatewise via their app (so there is a connection). More than once I've been told it was a "power outage," yet today there was none (and definitely no daily power outages). The app is slow to respond and slow to connect. The app also disables power save on my phone (screen stays on). I only keep it because it's required at my apartment complex (don't think the download numbers mean people love it).

The most frustrating and inconvenient app that I have ever experienced. Me and my neighbor are literally thinking about breaking our lease because of this app. Bottom line is, it just doesn't work. It doesn't matter what kind of phone you have it just simply isn't functional. I have been locked out of my apartment so many times and it's maddening. Having internet on, Bluetooth on, restarting my phone, logging in and out of the app, deleting the app and redownloading it..nothing works!

Apartment complex requires this. From time to time it won't connect so there's no way to get the entrance gates open. Occurs even when I have internet connectivity. To avoid searching thru apps, place on the bottom row (Android) so it appears on every screen. If your phone battery does, you break the screen, etc., you're screwed and can't gain entry.

Hello! Our app also works with bluetooth, so if there is a cellular connection issue just make sure you are right next to the gate and your bluetooth is on and it will work :) If you ever have any issues, shoot us an email at support@gatewise.com, we are happy to help!
