Super bad. 1) needs internet connection to pair to the inreach enabled device. The point is to have communication when no other options exist. You need to set this up when there's data available and hope it stays paired or you're toast. 2) Trying to Bluetooth pair GPSmap 66i, the Bluetooth code is displayed on device and the app is asking me to input it. Within 2 seconds the input window disappears and the device rolls a new code. The app says code was entered wrong. 3) can't sign in.

Worthless. It won't pair with my Inreach Mini 2. So basically, if I have cell service, I can send a text message with my phone, using my normal texting app. If there's no cell service, I can use the Mini 2 to painfully type out messages on the tiny screen and send them over the Iridium network. But the Messenger app is obviously unnecessary and offers no functionality whatsoever. I had hoped for a seamless experience. Another fail for Garmin.

It will not pair a Mini2 with my Pixel 7 Pro. The transceiver is detected via Bluetooth but then times out during the pairing process. I've tried multiple times. The transceiver should work fine for emergencies but the monthly service fee is too expensive for that limited functionality. I will be returning the device and buying a different brand.
