It broadcasts on the 96.2 frequency to cities like Suva, Navua, Nausori, Labasa, Savusavu, Nadi, Denarau, Mamanuca, and Lautoka. Additionally, it uses the 96 frequency to reach towns like Coral Coast and Ba, and broadcasts on 96.4 megahertz to Rakiraki and Nabouwalu.

Operated by Communications Fiji Limited, the same company that owns Radio Navtarang, Radio Sargam, Legend FM, and Viti FM in Fiji, FM96 was established in 1985. The station primarily caters to a youthful audience under 25 years old and features music from 1999 to the present. Their music selection includes RnB, hip-hop, rock, rap, pop, dance, reggae, and local music. Notably, FM96 is the exclusive home of AT40 with Ryan Seacrest in Fiji.
