About this game

Where Shadows Slumber is a mobile adventure puzzle game that takes place in a world that has been plunged into darkness. You will guide Obe, an old man who discovers a mysterious lantern in the forest, on one last journey.

The only tools at your disposal are your wits and the chaotic nature of the universe. Anything that is not touched by light has the freedom to change. This governing principle will be your guide in the darkness, but also your undoing. After all, if you are not touched by the light, you have the freedom to change as well.

What will you become?

Cons: 1, controls can be a bit janky, 2, logic of shadows can be inconsistent (eg, walking around a column for the second time sometimes reverts the scene to the original layout while sometimes it results in a third layout, and there isn't a clear way to know which is which), 3, cutscenes can't be skipped on a case-by-case basis. Pros: it's an interesting concept, I appreciate the effort, and though they're not my cup of tea, the cutscenes are 'non traditional' and, again, I appreciate that

Absolutely clever game. Starts off reasonably easy and as each level progresses the puzzles get more and more challenging. Considering the basics of the graphics in this game, as it went on I didn't even notice the simplicity in them due to the level of involvement trying to solve the puzzles. I highly recommend for puzzle lovers and I am hoping they make a sequel.. brilliantly master minded game 😊👍

This game is amazing. It's a dark story, as thought provoking as the ingenious puzzles. Monument Valley has much to learn from this game as I find it better in some key ways. I care much more about learning more of the story and wanted to finish levels more and more to see what happens, like Another World (Out of This World) does. Play with sound turned all the way up or with headphones! There is loud noice at the beginning but the soundtrack and atmospherics are incredible!
