About this app

Approved for use with Auxiliary and Auxiliary 2 blood glucose meters

The FreeStyle LibreLink app is approved for use with FreeStyle Libre, FreeStyle Libre 2 sensors. Now you can check your glucose by scanning the sensor with your phone, or receive alerts for low or high glucose levels using the FreeStyle Libre sensor. [1] [2]

You can use the FreeStyle LibreLink app for:

* View current glucose readings, trend arrows and glucose history
* Receive alerts for low or high glucose levels with the FreeStyle Libre 2 sensor [2]
* Add notes to track your diet, insulin usage and exercise
* View reports such as time in range and daily trend graphs
* Share your information with your doctor and family with your permission

Use your app and reader on the same blood glucose machine
Alerts can only be sent on the SF2 reader or on your phone (not both at the same time). To receive alerts on your phone, the blood glucose meter must be activated using the app. In order to receive alerts on the Auxiliary Sensing 2 reader, the blood glucose meter must be activated using the reader. After the blood glucose meter is activated by the reader, you can also use your mobile phone to scan the blood glucose meter.

Keep in mind that the application and reader do not share data with each other. To get complete information on a device, use that device to scan your blood glucose meter every 8 hours, otherwise your report will not include all data. You can upload and view data from all your devices at LibreView.com.

Application information
Used in conjunction with a FreeStyle LibreLink blood glucose meter, it is used to measure blood sugar levels in people with diabetes. For more information on how to use FreeStyle LibreLink, please refer to the user manual, which is accessible through the app. If you need to print the user manual, please contact Abbott Diabetes Care Customer Support.

[1] If you use the FreeStyle LibreLink app, you must also have a blood glucose monitoring system as it is not provided with the app.

This app will not work if you have your country or region set differently than the country you're currently living in. In other words, if you need to access the app store in English because you're from an English-speaking country but you were living abroad and a non-english speaking country than the app will not work at all. That is a very weak link. In addition, when I tried to connect the app to my to my other glucose monitoring app for my doctor, it once again gave me a region error .

Show up "Sensor error" frequently and can do nothing but wait for HOURS before it finally goes normal and lost glucose data for hours 😡 Very disappointing experience 😔

3 days using and alarms are already not working. nfc scan works, but alarms don't
