The Bible (from the Greek τὰ βιβλíα ta biblia - books, scrolls) is a collection of ancient texts which Christianity and partly Judaism consider sacred and inspired by God. The Czech Bible is a translation of the text of Bible books into the Czech language. The oldest translations of biblical texts on the Czech and Moravian territory are translations into Old Church Slavonic related to the Cyril and Methodius mission in the 9th century.
