App does basic stuff to allow users to see what is happening to the system however a big drawback is that the app does not allow to discharge the battery. Some friends using other apps and batteries really take advantage of the saving sessions and are able to save hundreds of pounds per year which can be a game changer in functionality as the battery will be paid off much faster and will be an additional source of income.

Update 25.10.23. Much more pleasing initial GUI. The full functionality still exists behind the first page by clicking on the light blue commission time bar. It would be better if it remembered your login instead of constantly having to sign in each time you use the App. The original layout is still available on the next page. If you use the web based foxcloud facility, that has also had a face-lift and is easier to read.

Reliability, resilience and useful features are key measures. As a normal user it's not possible to discharge the battery to the grid by choice. The web services backending it are frequently down, whenever they do maintenance my battery seems to report as offline much longer than the downtime. It's daft that the app won't report the firmware versions or provide all the info you can get locally on the inverter, given many people have the inverter in a difficult to access location. DISAPPOINTING!
