This bank was great until they decided to change the Mobil app. I can no longer connect plaid or any other 3rd party apps. When I questioned ameris bank about the issue, I was told it was an issue due to them creating a new app (the old one worked great) and that they were working to fix the connectivity issue. This was 2 weeks ago and I've called 3 different times. Each time I am told something completely different. Today I was told that they have no clue when it would be fixed.

This new app doesn't work any better than the old app. I don't get why Ameris can't get this right. Every other bank can. I can't log in. It says invalid credentials. I can log in online with the same login info, no problem. I can log into my wife's account on the app, no prob. By the way, we have a joint account. I don't understand why we have to have separate online accounts. It won't let me set up push notifications. Please fix this new app. Just copy the PNC app. It works great.

On the log in screen, there is a toggle to "Use biometrics" that's always on when I open the app. I do NOT want to use biometrics for this app, so I switch it off and log in. The next time I access the app, lo and behold, the "Use biometrics" has been turned back on instead of saving the preference I've already selected. Customer support informed me that the only way to make the biometrics button stay off is to disable biometrics on my phone. Can we PLEASE make this setting persistent??
