The Fâro mobile application aims to raise public awareness of the issues of plastic pollution and waste recycling, by significantly increasing the amount of waste collected, recycled and reinjected into a local reprocessing circuit.

As an individual, concierge, manager of a residence, waste collector, join the application to simplify your daily life and fight against plastic pollution! The Tunisian version of the application is created in collaboration with the association MEGARA Association for Sustainable Smart Cities”. Created in 2009, and present in more than 180 municipalities, this structure encourages local initiatives for the sustainable development of Tunis.

You are an individual and you want to better sort your waste?

Create your account on the Fâro application and select your residence. You can approach your janitor / caretaker / person in charge of your premises to provide you with a Fâro collection bag.

The list of waste to be collected in the bag is as follows: plastic, cardboard, paper, tins, aluminium. Find more information on the following link: (MEGARA link)

Once the bag is full, notify a bag deposit on the application by entering the associated bag number. All you have to do is contact your concierge / caretaker / person in charge of your premises to find out how to deposit.

Depending on the amount of waste collected, you earn eco-points on the application, giving you access to many advantages in your local shops!

Are you a concierge and do you want to take part in the Fâro adventure?

As a janitor, you will be responsible for centralizing waste bags in your premises, as well as the proper distribution of new bags to ensure an increasing and uninterrupted collection rate. Thanks to the Fâro application, a barbecha will be assigned to your residence and responsible for collecting the filled bags.
Depending on the amount of waste collected, you earn eco-points on the application, giving you access to many advantages in your local shops!

The MEGARA association will accompany you to integrate a virtuous circuit of waste collection at source. Thanks to them, your collection will be simplified thanks to centralized collection points, and you will benefit from better remuneration as well as social benefits (health, training, etc.).
