The "new" AFR app was promoted in the newspaper today (3rd April). It looks clean and sharp (uncluttered), with occasional ads inserted down the content, which includes a short article intro, and just tap to read more. The menu reflects the regular sections in the newspaper, making it easy to focus on a specific subject area (eg. World, Markets, Finance, Politics, Life n Leisure, etc). Overall the new app is a great way to skim through the headlines to see the latest news, then tap to read more.

Brilliant but too expensive. At $65 a month, I can't afford it and cancelled the subscription. Best journalism in Australia. By far. Unaffordable though on a budget.
