It's good that I can see when I'm using power to identify which appliances are using it. However syncing with my android phone rarely works. Just keeps saying bluetooth disconnected. Have to open and close app several times and eventually it might work. I have updated to latest version, no better. If I use the app on my ipad it syncs straight away. Also the range is poor. With both devices I have to stand next to my meter box or it doesn't connect.

Hi Leanne, Sorry to hear you are having trouble with the app. This sounds like a connection issue as Bluetooth range is roughly 20 metres. The device must also be on the outside of the metal housing. Good App with very poor communications which defeats the whole purpose. The use of Bluetooth is very ineffective inside a metal meter box, let alone going through brick walls. Why they didn't use WiFi like some other monitors was a major mistake not only for range but also the ability to use it on multiple devices. Depending on the location of your meter box will determine how annoying this becomes to sync to the app.

Nice UI but the app is constantly trying to sync with the metre when I'm out and about. I imagine this is having an effect on my battery life. Constantly seeing the notification that it's attempting to connect is very frustrating. This should only happen when the app is in use, but I can't seem to change permissions so that that is the case.

Hi Harley, thanks for your feedback. Your EMS app will search for your Electricity Advisor multiple times per day. We assure you that we have done sufficient testing on battery life and it will not have a major impact. If you turn off the Auto-Sync feature, you will not receive these notifications and your app will only connect when it is opened.
