The Goats Production Costs application and Sheep (CIM Cost) is a tool that allows the user to calculate, in a simplified way, the costs of their sheep and goat production system, and consequently determine the profitability of the activity. The application has four modules of information entries (performance parameters of the flock, specifying the values ​​of variable expenses; specifying the depreciation values ​​and taxes), as well as specification of revenue generated by the production system. This information is entered in aggregate, such as food expenses, drug costs, costs of improvements and facilities, costs of acquisition of animals, revenues from the sale of meat and live animal or, among others. After inserting these information the app calculates the profitability of the production system, providing reports with outputs (outputs) of the main measures of economic results such as total cost, total revenue, gross income, net income and leveling point. The output also provides, in percentage, the share of each item of expenditure in the total production costs. The application also allows the preservation of historical production costs. With these indicators, in addition to determining the profitability, the producer will have an easy to use tool to help identify critical points to reduce costs and improve the profitability of the production system.
