It is excellent app which not only shows the strokes order to write a Chinese character, but also provide usage examples of that particular character or word. I give my highest recommendation. My recommendation for improvement are: 1. Include a button to actual pronunciation of that character. Both by a man and a woman. 2. Have a function within the app to share this app.

I got what I came for. However, you will need Chinese keyboard to use if you want to find a specific word that can have the same pinyin. If the app can display more than 1 character from a search of a single word at a time (Ex. The word "apple" contains 2 characters "ping" and "guo" and you type ping guo and it shows both) that would be much better. Also, you should include the secondary sound 行 can be pronounced in more than 1 way, but to find the character I can only type the main sound only.

Downgrading my phone I couldn't use the app I used to use to learn strokes. So I found this one which is better than previous app. It allows me to look up wither using either English or Chinese keyboard and shows both animation and steps. I only use animation to know the direction of an stroke otherwise looking at steps is faster for me. It has a some other small useful features. One thing that is missing is the ability to enter a text and navigate between characters of it.
