About this app

This dictionary is a preliminary version to the version published in 2015 (Rongier, Jacques. 2015. Ewe-French Dictionary. Paris: L'Harmattan. 874p.)
The differences are quantitatively significant, but qualitatively limited. A few errors have been corrected using the released version.

Ewe is a Kwa language, from the Volta-Niger group of the Niger-Congolese family, which extends from the Atlantic Ocean to the Indian Ocean. It is spoken in southern Togo, as far as Atakpamé, and in southeastern Ghana as far as Lake Volta, by approximately 4.8 million speakers.
