This is exactly what I was looking for. You can read and listen for free and the ads aren't to invasive they are there when you open the app and as a lower banner when selecting a book but you can read or listen without much interruption. The audio books are perfect if you're looking for free books to listen to while you workout, do chores or are just waiting with nothing to do.

This is a great app for books in the public domain. It offers the ability to download books to listen to offline. I'm good with all these things but in the last update they took away the ability to switch apps or turn off the phone. The app stops reading unless you have the app open. Hopefully they get that fixed soon.

Was great! Has a lot of ads, unless you premium, but they usually don't last very long, so I'm not bothered much. On my phone it's super slow, but I have an old phone, so I'm not sure it's the app. Other than that, it has all the classics, so I think it's worth the waiting for the ads to end and the frustratingly slow boot up that it has on my phone.
