About this game

From the creators of "Traps n' Gemstones" (Gamezebo GAME OF THE YEAR 2014) comes a new, exploration-oriented platformer, sometimes referred to as the Metroidvania genre.

THE PLOT

During a dark, rainy thunderstorm, mysterious forces appear on the skies over the Kingdom of Nidala.

Birk, a brave townsboy, heads over to the old tower where Merlin lives, in hopes of getting some answers from the elder. Birk learns that the King is missing and the sacred stone tablets which have protected the kingdom for generations have been stolen.

Join Birk in a charming, retro-styled pixel adventure on a quest to unravel the mysteries and restore peace to the kingdom.
Explore the lands, talk to the locals, collect weapons and upgrade your character.

GAME FEATURES

* Non-linear gameplay: Explore the kingdom freely

* Casual friendly, NON-DESTRUCTIVE gameplay: When you lose, you respawn in the last room instead of having to start all over

* Interact with characters, trade items and get hints

* Collect weapons and valuables

* Upgrade your character

* Unearth secret treasures, hidden all over the kingdom

* An overview map that keeps track of all places you've visited

The game supports JOY PADS and EXTERNAL KEYBOARDS.

Really fun Zelda-like open world platformer with a heavy focus on exploration. The controls are tight, though the combat isn't particularly enjoyable as the melee weapons have a very limited range. Some level design decisions can be a bit questionable, but for the most part it's an absolute blast to explore the world and try to find its many secrets. I finished the game in 4h 18m with 90% completion. Sadly, you can't keep playing after watching the end cutscene and have to reset the save file.

Hi, Love the game, but would love the option of re-allocating the gamepad keys. The A, B, and X Y buttons on the 8bitdo zero 2 (a superb controller) is completely mapped to the wrong functions in your game. Not your fault, and you can't be sure that every controller will be like that, but can you look into various A, B, X, Y combos to cycle through (I assume building a full remapping UI would be too much work). Anyway, thanks for the wonderful games. Planning to play this more once I can play with my controller. C

How does this game only have 100 plus downloads? This is one the best platformers I've play on google. It's really great. There's lots of items to use to get deeper into areas and to find treasure. It's not too long or too short. It took me around 7 hrs to finish probably. There's not a lot of hard enemies, but I really enjoyed the treasure hunting aspect.
