About this app

The Bambook app is the perfect addition for your Bambook products. Scan and save your notes upon erasing the surface and you are ready to reuse it endlessly!

Scan your notes with the push of a button. All Bambook products have a black border around them. This black trim is recognized by the app, due to which it captures purely the page and not the surroundings. The app captures the page and converts it to a black and white scan. You can also use other filters if you would prefer your scan to be in colour.

Bambook is cloud connected! Using the app, you can easily sync your folders to the cloud. This way you always have your notes at hand. The Bambook app is compatible with: iCloud, Google Drive, Onedrive and Dropbox.

You are in control! Structure your notes, thoughts and creations by naming them and saving them to folders. This way you keep an overview, can easily navigate through your notes and easily find them.

The idea of not wasting paper is incredible, and the product itself is good... But the app is terrible, syncing feature stopped working. Changing the folders to be synced is impossible. I took photos from first to last page, the app changes the order from last to first just because. Needs a lot of work and enhancements

No value. The app doesn't work well to begin with. Pictures being store take a long time and the cropping isn't fantastic. You can't move files to other folders when you have stored them somewhere else first. On top of that, I hoped the app would have smarter features like writing recognition, extracting to do lists, etc. But it's just a camera app... A better alternative is just to use your camera and store the notes you want there.

If I take pictures of several pages in the order every reasonable person would do it in - i.e., starting from the first page - the app reverses the order and numbers the last page as first. When you then try to rename them, i.e. file 4 -> file 1, the file gets overwritten without any error message and it's deleted so you have to start from the beginning. I can hardly imagine that there has been any beta testing.
