About this app

NOTE: THIS IS NOT A GAME!! If you don't know what emulators and front-ends are this app is not for you!

This is an emulator front-end that will painlessly organize your retro game collection.

Little to no set-up is necessary in many cases. Dig will automatically scan your device for games, download cover art, and assign emulators.

However, you must supply your own games and install the emulators yourself. Dig will take you to the Play Store pages of emulators that are not installed.

Other features include

* Support for 83 systems and counting
* Merged game sets
* Android homescreen game launching
* 6 game view types
* customizable themes with (optional) background pictures, videos, and music/sound effects
* voice search
* support for zipped CD images

and more!

Thanks for the reply, I've found the option, though you forgot to add the first step where I need to check "All Systems" in the system menu. With that problem fixed, everything looks to be working well, every features that are expected from an emulator front end are here, but the "ignore a folder" option doesn't seem to work, files in folders that I ignored are still there. My problems with the design are just nit-picky really like how if my phone is in landscape mode the games aren't centered.

Currently, ignoring folders only takes effect during scans. For now you'll have to remove unwanted folders already added manually. Can you send me a screenshot of uncentered games?

Wonderful app - really love it. Would it be possible to go into a system, and view Favourites for that system only? It seems at the moment I can only view all Favourites across all systems. I also have a few games that the automatic scan won't pick up, is there a way to manually add files? EDIT: Awesome! The game I can't get to detect is the Japanese version of Super Mario Bros 2. My file's extension is .NES and I can get it to work with the NES core I'm using with RetroArch, but is the file not getting detected by Dig because the game really came out for the FDS rather than the NES? Other examples are Sega CD games, I didn't have any luck with Mortal Kombat, Final Fight CD or Pepsiman.

Q1 Not yet, but I will add that. Q2 it depends. Can you give me examples of files that weren't recognized?

This app is fantastic, I've been searching the seven seas of the Google Play store for an app like this for about a year and a half and boy! not only is this app what I was looking for, but even more than that! My dashboard now looks pretty cool bow that I've started displaying my games on there as widgets. The way they are shaped is beautiful and not only allows me to quickly access my favourite games from the dashboard but also lets me make it look pretty and be able to show it off to friends. To improve: In the theme editor allow for you to be able to add more than one folder to the background sounds or make the app look inside folders. In the theme editor add a preview maybe? Add different fonts and make it so you can change the size. Great app, must download for anyone with emulators, keep up the good work! This app is perfect even without what I said so don't feel the app is bad because it doesn't have my suggested improvements or don't feel (developers) that you should feel pressured to add them. Thanks! See ya'!

Google now requires apps to use the Storage Access Framework. This version will guide you through updating your game paths if they weren't scanned using the SAF.
