About this app

Over the years, the Medication Guide has become a reference for all students and professionals who participate in the prescription and distribution of medications, as well as in patient monitoring. Its content, updated each year, respects the principles that should guide the prescription and proper use of drugs. Its pocket size makes it easy to browse, in consultation, at the pharmacy or in the hospital. In recent years, many molecules have been withdrawn from the market and the precautions for use have been reinforced. Therapeutic regimens are presented at the beginning of each chapter with some guidelines to be followed in an emergency situation. All the molecules referenced have been updated: the drugs are listed under their international non-proprietary name (INN) and under the trade names, with their method of dispensing in France and their reimbursement rate. Generics are indicated by the acronym G attached to the INN, the acronym BS denotes biosimilars. New drugs are presented in each discipline alongside comparable treatments. The list of drugs having obtained an ASMR level I or II since 2014 is provided in the regulatory information. Medicines withdrawn from the market are indicated at the end of the book. Dressings, on the one hand, and artificial nutrition, on the other hand, are the subject of specific development. The usual biological values and the main plasma levels of drugs are listed at the end of the book. Recommendations for children and patients at risk have been introduced in a special chapter, as well as information on common iatrogenicity.
