About this app

Deque’s axe DevTools Accessibility Analyzer for Android was developed by Deque Systems, Inc., the industry leader in digital accessibility. It’s an automated analysis tool kit based on accepted WCAG standards and platform guidelines recommended by Google to find meaningful digital accessibility issues in Android native and hybrid applications–with no false positives.

It’s designed for use by anyone on your team–developers or otherwise. QA or accessibility testers use it to find potential issues to send to developers. Developers can quickly check for accessibility on new UI elements as they work. It requires very little set up to get started and never requires access to the source code for testing.

Deque’s axe DevTools Accessibility Analyzer for Android provides the most comprehensive mobile testing rule coverage available.

It provides insight into accessibility issues such as:
- Color contrast of text (including images of text)
- Ensuring controls have proper and meaningful labels
- Images provide information to the end-user through proper labeling
- Focus management matches a logical order while traversing the screen
- Overlapping content
- Tappable target size is large enough for interactions

Initiate your own scans whenever you’d like. Get clear explanations of issues found along with accurate remediation advice. Use the mobile dashboard to share and organize your results, get an accessibility score, and dig into detailed results which include the captured view properties.

Test apps built with:
- Native languages such as Java and Kotlin
- Xamarin (.NET MAUI)
- React Native
- Flutter

Digital equality is our mission, vision, and passion. Let us help you build digital accessibility into everything you do for mobile devices.
