Dominus Turnbased Civilization

Dominus is a single and (REAL) multiplayer turn-based strategy focused on world building and tactical battling with a couple of unique twists! It's built by a small indie team for fans of old school strategy game classics like Civilization, Total War, Heroes of Might and Magic and new age marvels like Polytopia. We love those games but wanted an experience where we could play with our friends at the same time, instead of spending hours waiting for someone to finish their turn. We designed a hybrid turn-based simultaneous turn (WEGO) mechanic that feels like a supremely fun (IMO) cross between TBS and RTS. Instead of just reacting (BORING), players need to predict what the enemy is going to do each turn, navigating around ambushes and traps while laying down their own!

Dominus is an online 4x strategy and tactics game that brings the best of turn based, rts and civilization wars together to create an epic battle simulator allowing you to take your empire through medieval total war to become the ultimate kingdom maker and to reach world domination through colonization and battle strategy to say nothing of all the multiplayer adventure games, tactical games and even a bit of turn based rpg action that’ll get you ready for world domination while creating your own age of empires in the battle lands the likes of which you’ve never seen before in any hex game or other strategy war games. Whether you're a lone wolf, a cooperative team player or a multiplayer shark - you'll need to expand your tribe into a mighty age of kingdoms! Build up your village with houses, farms, bakery, armory, forges, castles, banks and more, but don't forget to train your army. You'll need all the help you can get if you want the victory and the glory of being a lord of your kingdom with a powerful castle.

We tried hexes, poly and blocks but decided to go with a trusty square to give you even more freedom of movement, 4x strategy, epic battle strategy in this battle of wits. Who even likes hexes anyway!
