WeatherForecast

The application displays weather data for big cities from around the world for the current moment, for 3-hours intervals for the next 24 hours and per day for the current day and the next 4 days (5 days in total). There is a list of cities which is managed by the user, who is able to add cities to the list (maximum 3), remove cities from the list, change the order of the cities in the list and set a main city in that list. The main page displays the weather data for the cities in the list, but only for one at a time, the user being able to switch the city by swiping left or right. The application also has a widget which displays on the home screen the main current weather data for the main city from the cities list; if the user touches the widget, the application opens. Furthermore, by accessing the settings menu, the user can change the measurement units, language and notifications status. The application sends a few notifications (2-3 notifications) every day (if notifications status is "Activated"), displaying the weather data for the next hours; touching the notification results in opening the application. The weather data is provided by OpenWeatherMap.
