Well reviews don't really matter, do they, because you HAVE to use this app for your new system so what else are you going to do? As I feared, the experience is far less that that of companies whose job it is to make smart devices and apps. Really wish I could use my ecobee instead of this. Needs a better experience for creating schedules. Needs a better setup for scheduling heat, cool, auto modes. Needs a vacation mode. UI needs a complete overhaul, a hard-coded keyboard?? WHY???

A lot to be desired. 1) I should be able to see the current percentages of heat pump, and fan speeds. 2) Daily usage for the last 7 days 3) Biggest gripe, if I press the back button on my phone instead of the app's back button, it returns me to the MAIN SCREEN. 4) I not connect to a hidden SSID only a broadcasting SSID, nor manually enter SSID and password. Even after unhidding it and connecting, if I re-hide my SSID, the smart thermostat cannot find it. 5) Nest scheduling is intuitive. <<--

Update 9/19: issue was resolved Sometime on 9/18/2023 (today) the Amana services lost my home location. The app will not write/save a new home location after I set it on the map, and as such I cannot connect to my thermostat for remote control through the app. Very frustrating as the app and my thermostat both show the same account. It should stop me from using geofencing but should prevent me from accessing my thermostat for control since it's the same account on the thermostat and the app.
