Silvia Rovatti

Silvia was born and lives in Milan, born in 1969.
Photography, one of the passions that brings Silvia to Dantebus, and from here, a new beginning.
Passion permeated by the family since childhood.
She grew up with her father who worked in photographic companies such as the historic Ferrania, while her brother, uncle and grandfather worked in a family business that made accessories for cameras. In those years the camera was appreciated and accessible to many and Silvia was involved on an amateur level by her father in taking shots of Milan at night or during the day up to the development in the darkroom. A magic! for a little girl who was unknowingly experiencing unforgettable life lessons.
He loves photography because, like in a book, there is a preface, a development of content and an ending that leaves its mark, but all told through a single shot which, without words, transforms an image into emotional content.
By nature curious about the surrounding environment, she grasps nuances, details, and is inclined to process information on a deeper level. In the shots he looks for lines, geometries, shadows, colors, lights, reflections, humanity and its intensity.
Photography leads to travel, to research, to observe and to contemplate even a single detail that attracts attention, and it is that attention that transforms perception into intention and then becomes creation, not always perfect but unusual and special.
Photography is also a complex journey, sometimes difficult, sometimes wonderful within oneself, which is why in certain shots the images say a lot to those who take them but it is not a given that they reach the outside. Silvia will therefore undertake this complicated journey with you by transferring her point of observation of places, moments or sensations within an image, and if this creates curiosity or evokes memories, in that shot she will have managed to give a little of himself.
