Livio Pepè Sciarria

Born in 1989, he is a neurobiologist and passionate photographer, originally from Palestrina. Self-taught for over 10 years, he evolves his photographic knowledge by experimenting with film cameras, snapshots and digital cameras. He finds his "comfort zone" in street photography, also proposing his ability to capture the essence of a moment, the simplicity and spontaneity of an emotion in portraiture and event photography.
LONG BIOGRAPHY
Hello, let me introduce myself! I am Livio, originally from Palestrina, born in 1989. I obtained degrees in biology and neurobiology, while cultivating my passion for photography.
My portfolio includes a wide range of creative, personal and commissioned productions.
I have been self-taught for over 10 years and, coming from analogue photography, I continued and expanded my cultural and technical background by trying my hand at instant photography until reaching digital photography, also adding video production.
My production is the result of personal inspiration and aims to immortalize people in images, through the emotions expressed and the moments in which they are immersed. My photographs range from events to portraits, but my comfort zone is street photography, through which I can express concepts and capture the essence of a moment, the simplicity and spontaneity of an emotion. I find that the most interesting places to shoot are those frequented by people, convivial events and the streets of Rome that I love.
Only recently have I decided to evolve my passion for photography with commissioned works, mainly for events and portrait sessions, where the personal gaze developed over years of street photography is present in each shot.
