BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE: I am Ilenia Canalella, I am a self-taught artist born in Mussomeli, Sicily. After studying economics in Pavia, I currently work as a financial consultant. Since I was little, I have nurtured a great passion for drawing, but it was during the pandemic that I discovered my true calling for painting. Despite the lack of formal art training, I am enthusiastically committed to painting as an authentic form of expression. My works represent my personal research, a means to communicate emotions that otherwise I would not be able to express. Art represents for me my place in the world.
