Chiara Barone

Chiara Barone is a young 20 year old student. Originally from La Spezia (Liguria), she currently studies, lives and works in Groningen in the Netherlands. He follows the European Languages ​​and Cultures course at the University of Groningen (Rijksuniversiteit Groningen). His great passions are reading, music, travel and obviously photography. Although she has only started to delve into the latter in recent years, Chiara has always had a special connection with photos compared to other types of art. Initially following in his father's footsteps and inheriting his first film camera, he immediately became strongly passionate about the new world seen from the perspective of his camera lens. Chiara experiments with shots with both analogue cameras and digital cameras, which give her two types of different emotions: the first based on the anxious wait for the film to develop, the second based on the fun editing process. She always tries to capture the small, colorful details of the world around her, making viewers notice new details of objects around them. She really likes playing with colors and lights: brightness, shadows, saturation and liveliness have the great power to awaken a photograph. His subjects vary greatly, from loved ones, to buildings and nature. However, these are all united by their being simple and apparently mundane, but from which he always tries to gather the best through his cameras. His intent is always to freeze these small details of his life in time so as to relive them over time.
