Lorella Garboni

I was born in Trieste on 5 June 1961. My passion for chemistry was instilled in me by my middle school science teacher, who even then took us to the laboratory and showed us her "magic". And then I realized that it was my way. And I had the privilege of being able to do the job I loved. I was a laboratory worker at the University of Trieste for 37 years. Now I continue to teach cosmetology in a professional school. But I also had other teachers, who had the foresight to introduce me to the world of art, stimulating my curiosity towards different techniques and artistic forms. Drawing, embroidering, cooking, creating bijoux for me and for my friends it means carving out moments of my own, of isolation, which allow me to escape and travel away from the daily routine with my mind and give me joy.
