Stefano Assettati, was born in Lisbon (Portugal) on May 8th 1943 and traveled around the world following his parents up to the age of 18, and then returned to travel for his profession as an architect traveling around the world, thus acquiring a an "international" dimension of images that he conveys in his paintings An adequate presentation of the artist's works cannot be made without mentioning his truly rich and singular personality and his wealth of experience. He lived abroad in the countries where his father held diplomatic positions in Portugal, Hungary, Pakistan, Czechoslovakia, Colombia, Ethiopia then completing his university studies in Rome where he graduated in architecture "Citizen of the world" at his first work experiences first in Rome, then in New York, in South Africa and in England, managing to capture color images for his works. Various projects in Libya and subsequently, a financial company of the State Participations entrusts him with foreign promotion assignments which lead him to travel to the Middle East, India, Northern Europe, Russia, United States of America, Africa and Australia Since 1995, as a freelancer, he has worked both in Italy and in the United Arab Emirates alternating his activities with Italy. Stefano Assettati&nbsp ; carrying out his activity as an architect, he demonstrates an extraordinary ability to combine tradition, technology and originality with a refined taste, which is his own.  He pursues his passion in painting in his free time left over from his profession as an architect and his other passions such as the theater as an actor, and the search for remote and archaeological sites He wants to experience more and more emotions, he jumps with a parachute, flies on a glider, runs on a motorcycle and climbs mountains Approaching various cultures, landscapes for work, he is enriched with images, colors , shapes, lights and emotions that he transfers with supremacy onto canvas, cardboard or any material that happens to be at hand. His various, multiform pictorial works are full of details: nothing is overlooked, whether they are still lifes or landscapes or portraits; all demonstrate a common denominator the emotion with which he paints that he wants to transfer to the viewer. Modest, shy, a little shy of worldliness like all intelligent and lively people, he transmits spirituality in his works sometimes forgotten feelings. The still lifes, like landscapes, are detailed, and plays of color and shadows and make them seem alive and movement in the eyes of the beholder, but his mastery completes it with portraits. He manages to convey, to whom looks at them, the moment of an emotion of a feeling and both the impression that the person portrayed is saying something will come out speaking through the eyes. psychology of the faces, the luminous intensity and the fluidity in the brushstroke, thus creating figures and faces permeated with atmospheric vibrations.
