Sergio De Simone

I was born in Varese on April 07, 1984. Always passionate about photography, also thanks to the curiosity that my father has always aroused in me with the developments in the dark room at home, since I was a child I have tried my hand at photography, first with simple and automatic, then with the first reflex with film. With the advent of digital photography, I buy my first Nikon and I begin to experiment first without post-production, then with some basic photo editing programs. During adolescence, the passion never fails and, also through the acquaintance of friends who begin to have the same passion, I begin to study techniques in a self-taught way, I take inspiration from National Geographic magazine for landscape photos and I also try to try my hand at the first portraits. The camera becomes more and more inseparable travel companion, first interspersed with the camera, but then increasingly gaining the upper hand. This desire for photography can also be seen upon entering the house, where there are only paintings of my photos that blend, not even on purpose, with the color chosen for the walls. The love of travel and photography infect each other, the honeymoon in Australia, the trips to America (still with regret I think back to the Antelop Canyon closed due to flooding) makes me consume coupons on coupons, and yet if I think about it, I can think of photos that I could have taken, but I didn't. Photography is not my job, but a hobby that occupies a good part of my free time and that has led me to try my hand, with good success, in photo shoots in baptisms, weddings and private parties.
