Nadia La Chiusa

Nadia La Chiusa grew up in Sicily: the sun, the sea, the Sicilian culture permeate the writing of the author, who often speaks through images that combine description of the external landscape and internal movements or moods. The landscape becomes a metaphor for the inner world. From the age of 7 he chose to express himself through art and poetry. Often times his class essays were given in poetic form, not always to the delight of his teachers. Her love for Japanese haiku leads her to experiment with forms devoid of lexical and rhetorical frills that flank and sometimes oppose her strongly Italian writing. Tied to ancient values, she lives with her parents and son.
