Danksy

I am Daniele, alias Danksy, and I create pop-art works starting from a very particular technique, the result of the fusion between my natural propensity for drawing from life and my ability to apply technical and geometric drawing. Thanks to years of studying rulers, squares, compasses and PC technical drawing, I have developed a personal technique that allows me to reinterpret the figurative image of a subject by eliminating any natural curve. The exaltation and precision of the lines , of angles and geometric references becomes the new communicative language which, although lacking in shading or nuances, keeps the identity and recognizability of the reinterpreted subject intact.
